1. Past Simple
Structure:

Regular verbs — spelling of -ed:

- Short verbs (CVC): double consonant + -ed — stopped, planned, travelled

- Completed actions in the past: I visited London last summer.
- A sequence of past events: She woke up, had breakfast, and left for school.

2. Past Continuous
Structure:

Structure:
